Formula One Tire Compounds

My recreation of the F1 2026 season tires.
originally started out as just making the intermediate tire for a test in blender.

These are game ready assets and after a lot of research into what is required from thwse assets in the game I've tried to build and package them in such a way.

It was a lot of fun and for my second project in blender I'm really happy with the results.

I loaded up F1 25 and took some shots in the photo mode of the game.
This would be my standard for the minimum amount of fidelity I needed to achieve.
Oher references came from the web and watching F1 on Youtube.

The Process PT.1
Creating a single tillable piece of the tire and then arraying it around to form the shape.
A non destructive workflow which allowed me to make adjustments as I understood the shape more and more.

The Process PT.2
Once I was happy with the tire I then added the sidewall as a separate mesh.

I decided to place all the tires and decals on one map. This was a more optimal approach as multiple cars can use different tires with a single map.
I do have some extra room on the rim but other parts of a full car could easily fill this space.
